The former taxi driver was the administrator of a group app for taxi drivers in which checks and traffic jams were reported. When many messages about Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters appeared in this app in the days leading up to the match, he decided to set up the group ‘Buurthuis 2. A member of the group wrote in "Buurthuis 2" that small groups of Maccabi supporters in yellow shirts had to be provoked in the city by shouting "Free Palestine" at them. Members of the group could then share the locations of the supporters and attack them. ‘That’s always good,’ Mounir M'C replied. A member wrote in the group that "a train full of Jews would arrive at the stadium later".
