Sunny Hostin stood alone in opposing the capture of Nicolás Maduro, branding it “kidnapping.” She rejected the panel’s consensus outright, insisting that Maduro should face justice only through the International Criminal Court.

Allysa Farah shot back.

“I don’t think the ICC can be trusted,” she said—pointing to its paralysis and selective enforcement, even as Russia continues to commit atrocities with little consequence.


Sunny Hostin was the sole dissenter, dismissing Maduro’s capture as “kidnapping” and lecturing the panel that justice must be left exclusively to the ICC.

Allysa Farah didn’t let it slide.

HOSTIN: I think that he should be tried in the International Criminal Court. I don't think the United States has jurisdiction over him.

FARAH GRIFFIN: I don't think the International Criminal Court is consistent in how we prosecute crimes because Russia is still in Ukraine and nobody is holding them to any international standards! You see all over the world!
