Investigating the Conclusion: The UN's Anti-Israel Inquiry Industry
It's so easy...
first you shoot the arrow..
..then you paint the target

Retroactive justification.
When the UN's traditional anti-Israel blocs want to level a particularly inflammatory accusation, they package a predetermined verdict as the result of an "independent inquiry." The only real investigation appears to be finding new ways to manipulate methodology, ignore inconvenient facts, or recycle outright falsehoods in service of a conclusion that was decided in advance. The goal is not to discover the truth, but to give a political narrative the appearance of due process.
For decades, it is difficult to find a single UN statement on Israel that did not cast the country in a negative light. The pattern is so consistent that claims of impartiality have long since lost credibility.
Not to mention such COI propaganda by outrageous bigots peddling the "Jewish control" [2022 by Miloon Kothari, 'working' with Navi Pillay in 2025] tropes in its false "genocide" slur

Coordinated Lawfare: Mamdani’s Anti-Israel Campaign and the U.N.’s Predetermined Indictment.
Same Day, Same Agenda: Anti-Israel Politicians and the U.N. Commission of Inquiry Strike in Unison.
On June 23, 2026, in New York City, three candidates associated with the socialist wing of the Democratic Party were promoted by anti-Israel fanatic, Islamo-socialist Zohran Mamdani (under his time in office - a sharp increase in anti Jewish hate crimes), specifically in pushing to use the G word (on anti Hamas was post Oct 7). On that same day—hardly coincidentally, the U.N. Commission of Inquiry released a predetermined political accusation, presented under the guise of an "independent inquiry" or "investigation."
As observers stated in response to the report, the U.N. document accusing Israel of targeting --supposedly-- Palestinian children (- children: blood libel much?) was "a predetermined indictment dressed up as an investigation." U.N. Watch further called it "an embarrassment to the United Nations and a disservice to genuine human rights accountability."
UN report accusing Israel of targeting [sic] Palestinian kids a ‘predetermined indictment dressed up as an investigation’
The report is “an embarrassment to the United Nations and a disservice to genuine human rights accountability,” Dina Rovner, of U.N. Watch, told JNS.
